About The Bago Walleye Club

The Bago Walleye Club was founded by anglers in 2010 to generate greater competitive angling opportunities throughout the Winnebago system.  Through a series of 4 tournaments spanning May-July, those who frequent the Winnebago system have the opportunity to showcase a variety of techniques to bring a quality limit to the scales.  The BWC allows anglers the chance to compete in four events with a cumulative points system.  Points and prizes are awarded for each individual tournament in the series.  In addition, we crown team champions each year at the end of the last tournament, based on points accumulated throughout the series.

Through the collective efforts of club members and the Board of Directors, we have managed to gain a tremendous outpouring of support from our growing sponsor base, the community, and the anglers themselves.  We take pride in the care of the walleye we chase.  We strictly run a catch-and-release tournament series, contributing to conservation efforts on the Winnebago system.
