Eagle Bluff Lighthouse First Lit (1868)

High above the Strawberry Channel near Ephraim, keeper Henry Stanley lit the Eagle Bluff Lighthouse for the first time in the fall of 1868. The cream brick light still stands in Peninsula State Park and is one of Door County’s most photographed landmarks.
