Moravians Found Ephraim (1853)

Reverend Andreas Iverson led a small Moravian congregation to a harbor beneath the bluffs in 1853 and founded Ephraim, a name meaning doubly fruitful. The village’s white buildings and Scandinavian roots still define its character today.
