Free Domain Health Checker
Paste in any list of domains and find out in seconds which ones are live, which are dead, and which are secretly parked or listed for sale by domain resellers. Built by the family team at Fox Valley Web Design in Green Bay, Wisconsin and opened up free for everyone. We choose to do good with our tools.
Check Up To 25 Domains At Once
Enter one domain per line. Full links are fine, we clean them up automatically.
Every check runs right here in your browser using public DNS over HTTPS from Google and Cloudflare. Your list is never sent to or stored on our servers. Verdicts are best-effort signals, not guarantees, so confirm before you delete anything.
What The Verdicts Mean
DNS is healthy and the web server is answering. The link is safe to keep.
The domain points at a parking service or a for-sale lander. Visitors see ads or a buy-this-domain page instead of a real business. Remove or update these links.
The domain no longer resolves at all. The link goes nowhere.
DNS exists but the web server is not responding over https. The site may be down or misconfigured.
The resolvers disagreed or timed out. Open the site yourself before deciding.
A Working Link Can Still Be A Bad Link
Here is the trap most link checkers fall into: a domain that has been bought by a reseller usually still loads with a perfectly healthy status code. The page that loads is a for-sale lander, not the business you meant to send people to. That is why this tool reads DNS records and parking signatures instead of trusting status codes alone.
Dead and parked outbound links quietly erode trust with visitors, search engines, and the AI assistants that now recommend businesses. A regular link audit keeps your site credible everywhere it gets read.
Domain Checker FAQs
It checks any domain for three problems at once: dead DNS, servers that stopped answering, and domains that now point at parking or for-sale services. Paste up to 25 domains and get a verdict for each in seconds.
When a business closes or lets a domain expire, resellers often buy the name and point it at a lander that shows ads or a sales pitch. Your old link keeps working, but it now sends people to a domain flipper instead of the business.
Loading is not the same as legitimate. For-sale landers return healthy status codes on purpose. This tool looks at nameservers and known parking addresses, which is how it catches pages that fool ordinary link checkers.
Yes. Search engines and AI assistants read outbound links as part of judging how trustworthy and maintained a page is. A resources page full of dead or parked links quietly drags down the credibility of everything around it.
Completely. No account, no email capture, no paywall. We built it for our own client audits, and we would rather open it up to everyone than squeeze money out of it. Doing good is good business.
No. The checks run entirely in your browser using public DNS over HTTPS from Google and Cloudflare. Your list never touches our servers.
Up to 25 per run to keep things fast and polite to the public resolvers. Run as many rounds as you like.
Quarterly is a good rhythm, plus any time you redesign or migrate. If your audit turns up problems you would rather not chase down yourself, request a free quote and our family team will handle the cleanup.
