Northern Lights on display in Northeastern Wisconsin

Northern Lights Green Bay Wisconsin – Solar storms brought the colorful Northern Lights back to Wisconsin for the second night in a row on November 12, 2025. A large burst of energy called a coronal mass ejection (CME) struck Earth’s atmosphere Tuesday, prompting space weather forecasters to issue a strong geomagnetic storm watch (G4) for Wednesday night.
