Bearcat’s Fish House is located in Algoma, Wisconsin. Bearcats offers a variety of smoked fish, fresh fish, frozen seafood, breaded appetizers, meats, cheeses, canned goods, Door County cherry products and much more.
Their smoked fish is brined and smoked on location. We are one of the few traditional smokehouses left that use true fires from sustainably harvested hardwoods such as maple, cherry and apple.
Bearcat’s Fish House was established in Algoma, Wisconsin in June of 1986 as a small family business. The only employees were Bearcat, his wife Linda, and their two young daughters. Bearcat’s moved to it’s current location in June of 1997. The retail store was expanded and new products were added. An up-to-date HACCP-approved smoking facility was also constructed at that time. In September 2012, ownership switched to Billy and Nicole and their two young daughters, allowing Bearcat and Linda to enjoy retirement. However, don’t be surprised to see Bearcat and Linda still working in the store from time to time!
Today, Bearcat’s Fish House continues to offer high quality fish and seafood products to their customers.
