Roger & Maggie are farmers (just down the road) and after selling their restaurant of 14 years; “Maggie Mae’s Café”, they knew that the life of camping was next in their future. They are thrilled to own Blue Lake Community. Their love for the outdoors, in such a serine setting, is not like work at all to them.
IN THE MEANTIME…at Roger’s encouragement, Maggie Mae became a country singer and is now a regular performer on RFD TV’s Midwest Country Show, has performed in Branson and recorded 7 albums. She performs with her band, “Heartland Country” at theaters, fairs, festivals and television recordings…BUT … they love to be close to Blue Lake Community and their farm are fortunate to utilize their barn (just down the road) as an “event barn” and hold din- ner shows, barn dances and weddings. Both Roger and Maggie have a passion for working hard and ENJOYING LIFE WHILE THEY DO IT !
